Trails at Shoreline

Pedestrians, joggers, bicyclists and inline skaters find a network of trails, bridges and roadways winding through the north edge of Shoreline of Shoreline at Mountain View. The trails link up with the Palo Alto Baylands for those seeking further hiking and bird-watching opportunities.  Within Shoreline, Vista Slope and the nearby Crittenden Hill provide expansive vistas as well as additional open space for exploring outdoors.

East of Stevens Creek, visitors travel to Crittenden Marsh (owned by Midpenninsula Regional Open Space District) and also connect with the Bay Loop Trail.

In addition, the Stevens Creek Trail originates in Shoreline at Mountain View and travels south, connecting with the Light Rail System at Central Expressway and ending at Sleeper Avenue.  Nearby, the Hetch-Hetchy Trail creates a neighborhood connection from the Middlefield Light Rail Station to the Stevens Creek connector.  Sorry, skateboards are not permitted on any of these Mountain View trails due to safety concerns.  For additional safety information to assist you while on area trails, please click here.
