The Urban Water Management Plan Act requires the City of Mountain View to update its Urban Water Management Plan (UWMP) every five years. The UWMP evaluates Mountain View’s water supply and demand, and provides a blueprint for meeting the community’s long-term water supply objectives. Mountain View adopted its 2010 UWMP and attachments on June 14, 2011.
Revisions to the UWMP were made available for public review and public hearings were held as presented in the timeline below.
